Sumner Daze Festival
IN AUGUST EVERY YEAR
In August 1986, Sumner Daze was held for the first time. . . a one-day
event and very successful under the direction of a team of loyal, hard-working
local people. In 1989 we expanded to a two-day celebration with amazing
participation from people in the area and are now a three day event.
Our events include a kick-off dance in the Sumner Centennial Park with
a DJ, pancake breakfast, parade, arts, crafts and flea market, horse
pull, pony pull and tractor pull, gospel and country music, food, inflatables
for the kids and duck race,
pedal pull, pet parade and much much more.
